Episode 26 – The final episode of the season and the series. Brainiac 5 has been mentally overcome by his suppressed programming of the original Brainiac. Controlled by the original Brainiac’s programming, Brainiac 5 has begun assimilating worlds, amalgumating the people and technology into an enormous battle droid space station. The Legion attempts to stop the station, but continue to be beaten back.
excerpt 1 – Struggling against an onslaught of Braniac Assimilations divouring the inhabited galaxy, Superman and Future Superman telekinetically teleport into Braniac 5’s brain, now controlled by original Braniac. The ancient and virtual foe quickly gains the upper hand and begins assimilating the 2 Supermen.
excerpt 2 – In space, the Legion of Superheroes mightily battle against the Brainiac army and the Monolithic Braniac ship, but are overwhelmed by Brainiac 5’s eminse power.
excerpt 3 – The combined consciousness of the Supermen proves a more powerful combatant to the Virtual Braniac, but the Superman is subdued before the broken conciousness of Brainiac 5. Brainiac 5 wills him-self to re-assemble to protect Superman and retake his mind.
